Currently, Ayanna is a Curation Editor for BuzzFeed News, where she spent summer 2019 as an intern. As a Curation Editor, she crafts content for social media platforms, the homepage, push notifications, edits for SEO, as well as assist with platform strategy.

Ayanna is an alumna North Carolina A&T State University where she studied Journalism and Mass Communications with a concentration in Multimedia Journalism and was involved in numerous organizations, such as the A&T Register, where she served as a Social Media Assistant and Contributor, and as a Reporter and Anchor for Aggie News and Views, N.C. A&T's news telecast.
